A Collection of Only Four Stone Residences in Western Mani
A rare residential ensemble in one of the last untouched landscapes of Western Mani, where architecture, nature, and tradition coexist in perfect balance.
Set on a privileged 10,800 sq.m. sloping plot near the traditional settlement of Dryopi, the project enjoys panoramic views over the Messinian Gulf and the dramatic Taygetos mountain range. The location offers absolute privacy, tranquility, and a profound connection with the natural environment.
Architectural Vision
The design philosophy is rooted in simplicity, authenticity, and respect for the architectural heritage of Mani.
Each residence is composed of stone volumes arranged to form courtyards and outdoor living spaces, creating a dialogue between built form and landscape. Natural materials—stone, wood, and clay tiles—define the architectural language, ensuring seamless integration into the surroundings.
The result is a contemporary interpretation of traditional Maniot architecture, offering timeless character with modern comfort.
The Residences
The four residences form a unified architectural composition, carefully integrated into the natural terrain. While visually cohesive as a group, each home maintains a strong sense of privacy and individuality.
With only four residences available, DIO offers a rare sense of privacy and permanence in one of the most authentic parts of the Mediterranean.
Intentionally limited in scale, the project preserves the intimacy, quietness, and timeless character of the landscape it belongs to — creating a living experience defined by space, light, and connection to place.
